Hi there. You may have heard that I have cancelled all shows in the fall. I worry that I may have disappointed some. I'm sorry about that. Since Jan 27, the heart operation, I have not really rested. I was back at it within a few weeks and, by the nature of my actions, it seems like I have been in denial about the obvious. I have not been able to change my life, my health and food patterns. I have not dropped any weight off of my bones and, while it's difficult to admit, I'm weary. I have an opportunity to do some very good inner work over the next few months...something I have been putting off, but...what is the point of a work ethic if you're dead! So, until further notice I'm stepping back to do the work that I mostly want to avoid. There may be a song in it. And then again there may not be song in it. Time is the great teacher. As an aside, let me say that I have fallen in love with quilting and have been commissioned to make quilts and wall hangings around my lyrics. I am working on one, have two in the wings and would love to hear from you should you have some favorite lyrics that you would like for yourself, as a gift, or as a way to breach a fracture between friends.
